Your leaf is made from 316 marine grade stainless steel.  The colour is achieved by heating the leaf in a particular way.

What to do with them

Leaves can be used as bookmarks, Christmas tree ornaments and can even be hung outside.  They will make a gentle tinkle in the wind if nailed to a hard surface (e.g. patio timber) with a spacer behind them.

How to care for them

Because they are 316 marine grade stainless steel, the leaves won't rust but they can get tea staining if used outside.  It is recommended to use stainless steel nails/hooks when hanging to prevent metal contamination.  Remove grease marks from the leaves with warm soapy water and they will come up like new.
